Nameri National Park

Nameri National Park is a public park in the lower regions of the eastern Himalayas in the Sonitpur Locale of Assam, India, around 35 km from Tezpur. Nameri is around 9 km from Chariduar, the closest town Nameri imparts its northern limit to the Pakhui Untamed life Asylum of Arunachal Pradesh. Together they comprise an area of north of 1,000 km2 (390 sq mi), of which Nameri has a complete area of 212 km2 (82 sq mi). Nameri National Park was announced as Tiger Save in the year 1999-2000, and is the subsequent Tiger hold of Assam after Manas Tiger Save. It has two center regions: Nameri Public Park and Sonai-Rupai Natural life (Satellite Center of the Nameri Tiger Save). The waterway Jia-Bhoroli is the help of Nameri, which streams along the southern limit of the recreation area from northwest to southeast. In the east, the stream Bor-Dikorai is a feeder of waterway Jia-Bhoroli, streaming along the southern limit from upper east to southwest.

The Kameng Waterway of Assam was well known since the hour of English for the brilliant mahseer calculating. The calculating was authoritatively restricted in 2011.The primary Streams are Jia-Bhoroli and Bor Dikorai. Different feeders of these two waterways are: Diji, Dinai, Nameri, Khari, Upper Dikiri which begins in the Arunachal Himalayas and courses through Pakke TR and Nameri TR.

The recreation area was proclaimed a save woodland on 17 October 1978. It was set up as a Nameri Sanctuary on 18 September 1985 with an area of 137 km (85 mi) as a piece of Naduar Timberland Hold. Up to that point the Nameri National Park was intensely utilized for logging. One more 75 km (47 mi) was added on 15 November 1998 when it was formally settled as a National Park.
