Corona Virus precautions in Assam
While the whole world is reeling under the trauma of Corona Virus, Assam is also not left behind. Initially no corona positive cases were detected for the first four days of lockdown. But then some cases begin to appear. In spite of the numerous precautionary measures taken by the state government and the numerous temporary hospitals built in and around the state to cope up with the impending danger, yet there are some people who are not cooperating and making a helm of the affairs.
Our hon'ble Prime Minister had announced a complete lockdown of the nation on 22nd March 2020 so as to maintain social distancing from one another as the virus is very infectious and can transmit easily through physical contact or through coughing or spitting. Almost 90% of the population cooperated with the Prime Minister but 10% are yet to make any notable contribution.
Some people who have got infected have to come out themselves to take test and make themselves quarantine for at least 14 days so that the virus had an incubation time of 14 days. They need to stay alone separated from the rest of the people so that virus may not get transmitted. Regular sanitisation like washing of hands with soap at regular intervals has to be done by each and every person so as to prevent themselves from getting infected etc. has to be carried on to get rid of the virus.
Prime Minister Modi had called for a nine minute at 9 PM on 5th April 2020 for put off the lights and lighting of earthern lamps with mustard oil, lighting of candles, or mobile flash light as a mark of respect to those corona warriors who were fighting against the disease.
Previously also Prime Minister has announced to clap hands on 22nd March 2020 for 5 minutes at 5 pm for applauding the corona warriors.
I think the lighting of earthen lamps for 9 minutes at 9 PM on 5th of April has something similar with the spritualism as from the astronomical point of view of Hindu astronomy it gains energy to make our immune system stronger, for it has something to do with the planet of Mars and Jupiter.
Any way it is good if it proves to be more realistic and thus helps us in fighting corona virus.
